Interested in Having a Mentor?

The Fairway Friends mentoring program offers an opportunity for a new golfer to have a “golfing buddy” to help make that transition from instruction to playing golf.  This program is open to all EWGA members, provided you’ve been through a basic level of golf instruction.

An EWGA mentor will help you get around the golf course safely and answer questions about etiquette, basic rules and the other nuances of the game in order to build your confidence and comfort in the golf course setting.  Though the mentor is not there to help you with your golf swing, she can help you feel more comfortable playing golf with others on the golf course.

Benefits of becoming a Mentee:

  • Opportunity to learn from an experienced golfer on the golf course, and get more involved in EWGA
  • Opportunity to have a "buddy" to ask questions throughout the year
  • Receive an accessories pouch from program sponsor, Be the Ball 4U
  • Receive a discount on Fairway Friends logoed items from Be the Ball 4U
  • Chance to randomly selected to win a gift from Be the Ball 4U for completing the program
